The collection ” Darkness” reflects a Greek Myth that tells us: “First, there was Chaos, it all started with Erebus – darkness and Nyx – night, and then a big bang happened, they coupled and the flashing fruits of their reunion were created- Hemera – day and Aether – Light…..” through ceramic art pieces and emotions of Elizabeth Nenarokov behind them.
This brings me back to my belief that you have to experience and see first the darkness in order to see brightness and freedom in your life. This journey starts here, with the first sets of works that represent people and emotions in my life that cause sadness and pain. Their dark charms were seducing and intoxicating. Every day you were trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel but there was none and from day to day you had to live in the beautiful and bewitching darkness.
