He is a graduate of the State Central Dermo-Venereological Research Institute in Moscow, Russia. He is also a professor of dermatology at the European University of Cyprus. For many years he worked as a dermatologist at the General Hospital of Nicosia, Cyprus. Doctor Stelios Mina is a member of the Board of Directors of the World Dermoscopy Organization and is one of the authors of the World Atlas of Dermoscopy.
